Abeer Saud Alessa

Abeer Saud Alessa, Co-Founder and CEO of The Bold Group, is a visionary Saudi entrepreneur and marketeer who revolutionised the advertising industry in Saudi Arabia. As one of the first Saudi females to enter the field, Abeer recognised a transformative opportunity and set a new standard for creativity and innovation. Inspired by the art of communication, Abeer started her career with a Diploma in Arts & Design before joining MBC Group as Promotion Producer. She then became one of the first Saudi females to join the advertising industry, in one of the leading multinational agencies at the time, as Conceptual Copywriter. Realising the importance of further developing her skills and knowledge, she pursued a Master's degree in International Marketing and Business Development in France. Armed with a refined skillset, Abeer returned to Riyadh and officially established an agency in 2012, naming it after the move she was making – bold. Under her leadership, Bold Agency has grown in scale and quality, amassing numerous success stories and accolades. Notably, Bold Agency was awarded the "Independent Agency of the Year" title by Dubai Lynx, making it the first Saudi independent agency to receive this honour. Additionally, The Good Report 2019 by ACT Responsible ranked Bold among the top 25 most successful communication agencies worldwide. On Bold Agency's 10th anniversary in 2022, Abeer expanded the company to become The Bold Group. With three independent units specialising in brand building, communication, and digital experiences, The Bold Group is setting a benchmark in the region. Abeer's entrepreneurial spirit also extends beyond The Bold Group, as she serves as a member of the Advertising Committee at the Chamber of Commerce in Riyadh and is a member of the Saudi Women Leadership Circle at UNICEF. Abeer is also a co-founder and Managing Director at Teeb, a high-end lifestyle gift items company.
